Another motive that appears regularly in my paintings. I love trees very much and often hang out with them. They have always had a symbolic value. They symbolise the connection between heaven and earth, between the spiritual and the material. I have painted many of them. Just because I felt the need, but also by commission. I painted this one in autumn 2023. Of them all, it is the most at the crossing of worlds so far. It is as if other dimensions, divine, angelic light, are passing through the painting into our world. Even the heart has painted itself. The painting is highly structured, there is also a lot of metal, applied in a classical way, gilding.
