Every now and then I paint a series of nudes that are a kind of allegory not only to the female body, but also to nature, whose energy is inherently feminine. Our civilisation has moved far away from nature, and yet nature is our essence. And the more we are connected to it, in its primal form, the more fulfilled and happy we are. If only we did not listen to what is being imposed on us by our commercialised society, but to our bodies, our hearts. That is how Summer was born.
