The inspiration for this painting came from the forest, where I love to go for a walk. The mighty trees and the river that flows through it create a very special sense of primal beauty and tranquillity. Every now and then, I catch a glimpse into the deeper layers of what I see. This was one such moment, which I captured on the canvas.
