I consider nature to be an infinite source of vitality and life. When I was looking for the right title for this large watercolour, The Divine Matrix came to mind. A fitting name indeed. This watercolour took much longer to create than the others. I felt that the painting was not finished, but I didn’t know what else to do. After a year or so, I felt which direction to go to. So plants that were flowering in my garden at the time are included in the painting. It was as if the painting had been waiting all year just for the spring blossom, the growth and the lushness.
