When I visit the forest, which I do often, it always reveals a new aspect of life’s beauty to me. Whilst towns are predictably dull and increasingly lifeless, this is a gift of life.
In this painting, I wanted to capture that special moment of connection between life and the divine. This time, I used acrylic paints on canvas. It took many layers of paint and textures before I could sense how the light radiates from the painting.
