Lush, blooming meadows have always fascinated me and are a frequent subject of my paintings. I am inspired by their intense lushness, the teeming life, movement, the shapes, the colors, and the joy I feel when I’m near such a meadow. When I look closer, at first it seems like pure chaos, yet also perfect order. In this motif, I find the play of light and shadow, depth, and a richness of shapes and colors that captivate me. Every glance, every painting is something new—an immeasurable abundance that reveals itself through the creative process.
