I am living in a small town, in a neighbourhood of houses with gardens. Most neighbours turn on their lawnmowers as soon as the grass grows a little. There is only one part of the garden next to mine that is left uncut. Tall grasses and an abundance of summer flowers have grown under the old pear trees. Such an abundance of vitality, life and beauty. Inspiration for more of my paintings.
