A morning with a painting that is much more than just that. The dream of roses came at a time when I was longing for the sun and the lightness of warmer days. Fall and the period until January is somehow still bearable. But the time until spring seems to drag on forever. That’s why I always create paintings that are full of warmth, lightness, and joy during this time. each painting is like a precisely crafted energy alchemy that gives me exactly what I need. The art of painting, of creating, is an eternal search and learning process, a discovery. Once I finish a painting, I “talk” to it for a while. The creative process is like a waterfall of energy flowing through me, and my job is to let myself go with it as much as possible. Without expectations and constructs of the mind, which likes to tell me how things should look, but also imposes on me that every painting must be a masterpiece. I try very hard not to listen to it, and most of the time I succeed, but then, on dark winter days, I hear a voice telling me that everything I do is worthless. Caught between the awareness of who I really am and the legacy of times past, I create paintings that heal me, bring me balance, and show me the beauty I find in nature. This never ceases to fascinate and inspire me. And I see more and more. Step by step, day by day…
