I love to paint blooming meadows. In the middle of Summer or in January, waiting for the Spring to blossom. This one was rather special, because I started painting it in Summer of 23, but left it unfinished. It was just too complicated for a hot summer day. I found it among the watercolour paper, waiting for me to discover it this January. It was a lot of fun retouching it. It took me directly to the summer fields, blooming, lush meadows full of movement, full of life. And I’m quite sure that there are some fairies waiting amongst the wildflowers. They like it there.
