This is mixed media, watercolour combined with acrylic and gold leaves. Metal is quite different from colours and I find it quite fascinating to use. It brings some very special energy. I was inspired by very special place in nature reserve in south of Slovenia. It is so pure and full of magic. In this painting I wanted to capture not only the magic of that place but also of certain moment, when the beauty and serenety was reveiled to me. The tangled branches symbolize the complexity of growth and renewal, while the abstract, expressive strokes evoke a dreamlike energy. This painting breathes life and mystery, inviting your space to pulse with the hopeful, restless spirit of spring awakening. It’s a celebration of nature’s endless cycle and inner transformation.
