Autumn is the most colourful season of the year. Almost as if it wanted to enchant us with the intensity and warmth of its dazzling colours, thereby preparing us for the cold of winter. I am particularly captivated by the trees and forests, bathed in shades of gold, red and brown. Birch trees are like ancient priestesses, evoking memories of primal beauty and purity. They seem to unveil a whole new dimension of their existence, opening new doors. As the tree canopies thin out, each leaf becomes a ballerina, revealing the space in a new way. And those mighty canopies! I enjoy long walks through the autumnal forest with my dogs immensely. With their highly developed senses, they perceive far more than humans do. My canine companions are a gift. They enhance my perceptions to a new level.
