This painting was born out of longing for sun, longer days and warmth. I started with watercolour and upgraded it with gilding. Watercolour gives me the depth and lightnes that no other technique can. As I see in nature, there are so many layers, uncovering one I am able to go further, deeper. That is why this painting is so structured. Layers and layers, colour contrasts, shadow and light. Life. I was told that not many can accept so much life, so much light. But I am hopefull.
