Reflection in water has always fascinated me, ever since I was a child. I like to bring this enthusiasm and wonder at the beauty and curiosity of natural phenomena to the canvas. Water is truly remarkable, it flows easily and blends into its surroundings and yet its power is extraordinary. Through painting I deepen my experience and awareness of the elements of nature. And in doing so, I am reminded that I am a river too.
